A pair of English Creamware Wedgwood puce enal decorated dishes with foliate design and shell-edge.  These dishes were most likely decorated by James Bakewell who worked pretty exclusivelly for Wedgwood.  c1770-80

Dimensions:  7"L x 4" W

Condition: No restoration

Literature:  A similar dish is pictured in Reilly's "Wedgwood", Volume One, figure C 48--color insert.  That dish is impressed Wedgwood while these are not.
